The Council of Canadians chapters on the lower mainland recently won a major victory for climate justice and better transit by working with allied groups. The BC NDP government just pulled the plug on the 10-lane Massey Bridge proposal, freeing up over $3.5 billion that can be used for better transit. Now, the Better Transit Alliance of Greater Victoria has started an open letter supporting climate-friendly transportation investments.
