March 8 is International Women’s Day – a day to recognize women’s achievements and acknowledge the challenges they continue to face in the quest for gender equality. We will gather together with music and poetry to honour the diversity of women and our collective strength. Bring your pink/red hats, a candle, and your music in honour & celebration for International Women’s Day.

We acknowledge the lands in the City of Victoria as the traditional territories of the Songhees and Esquimalt nations. Leap Victoria, Greenpeace Victoria, Social Environmental Alliance, Council of Canadians Victoria Chapter, and other groups are organizing this event.
